Zhang Bo led a delegation to visit China Electric Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute

On October 23, Zhang Bo, member of the Party Committee and Chief Economist, led relevant personnel from the Sales Department to Beijing to visit China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CPECC") and held talks with Chen Jiping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CPECC. They also visited the Northwest Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CPECC Northwest Institute") in Xi'an and held talks with Xu Lu, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of CPECC Northwest Institute.

China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CPECC) is a central enterprise supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and is China's most powerful energy and power engineering planning and consulting enterprise. The 7 regional sub-centers of the National Power Planning Research Center and 13 provincial power planning research centers are all established based on the professional and technical strength of enterprises affiliated with CPECC. Its main businesses include planning and consulting, survey and design, engineering general contracting, and investment and operation. Among them, it has surveyed national wind, solar, storage, and transmission demonstration projects, as well as the tower solar power plant in Morocco; undertaken the general contracting of the floating solar photovoltaic project at Tengger Reservoir in Singapore; and operated the 50MW tower solar thermal demonstration project in Hami, Xinjiang, among other large-scale domestic and international new energy projects. Most design institutes, such as the Zhongnan Institute, Northwest Institute, and Jiangsu Institute, have close business ties with our company.

CPECC Northwest Institute was established in October 1956 and is one of the six major regional design institutes under China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. It holds qualifications such as Comprehensive Class A for engineering design and Comprehensive Class A for engineering survey, as well as Class I qualification for general contracting of power engineering construction. It is the cradle of domestic design and construction for new energy such as wind, solar, thermal, storage, and compressed air energy storage. Large-scale projects cooperated with our company include the 2X135MW Yangguang Coal Chemical Project, 2X200MW Bin Coal Thermal Power Project, 50MW Hami Solar Thermal Project, and 1X100MW Yumen Xinao Solar Thermal Project.

The two parties held in-depth exchanges on national new energy development, cooperative development of solar thermal power generating units, and the application of large and medium-sized thermal power systems. Zhang Bo expressed gratitude to CPECC and the Northwest Institute for their strong support of our company. Chen Jiping, General Manager of CPECC, and Xu Lu, Chairman of the Northwest Institute, both expressed their intention to continue strengthening cooperation on several new energy projects recently invested in by CPECC.

This meeting significantly strengthened the cooperation between our company and CPECC and the Northwest Institute on new energy projects such as solar thermal and compressed air energy storage, while also reaching a consensus on cooperation in small and medium-sized thermal power generating units.
