The Equipment and Power Section organized and convened a special meeting on special equipment management

On March 30, 2023, the Equipment Power Department, in collaboration with the Safety Department and overhead crane maintenance unit, organized a special meeting on special equipment management for leaders in charge of equipment and equipment administrators from various production workshops. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Wang Peng, and Jiang Hongwei from the Safety Department attended.

Special equipment mainly refers to equipment involving life safety and high danger, such as lifting equipment, pressure vessels, elevators, and special motor vehicles used the premises. At the meeting, the "Notice of the Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation on Strengthening Safety Prevention of Emergency Stop Switches for Remote Controls of Lifting Machinery" was conveyed Comrade Jiang Hongwei reported the issues mentioned in the periodic safety inspection notice (hidden danger notice) issued by the Special Equipment Inspection Institute, and put forward several opinions on this: regarding special management, all units must attach great importance to it, conduct management in accordance with national requirements, and carry out hidden danger investigations. For the problems identified during the investigation, they should promptly reported to the Equipment Power Department, and should be rectified or repaired as necessary to ensure safe operation.

Finally, Comrade Wang Peng summarized the meeting: first, awareness must be raised special equipment management must be given sufficient importance, and the responsibility of "one post, two responsibilities" must be earnestly fulfilled to ensure safe production; second, implementation must be strengthened; during the use of special equipment should be investigated in a timely manner to prevent them from occurring, and meeting participants should do a good job in communicating information up and down, reporting to leaders in a timely manner, and urging the special equipment operating teams to do a good job in management; third, supervision must be strengthened; on the basis of conducting hidden danger investigations each workshop should summarize the problems and report them to the Equipment Power Department in a timely manner for handling. The Equipment Power Department will conduct inspections together with the Safety Department. For that are not reported in a timely manner or exposed during inspections, assessments will be conducted at that time.
