Promoting quality co-governance and enhancing quality benefits 

—— Turbine Workshop actively carries out "Quality Month" activities

According to the company's Quality Month arrangements, the Steam Turbine Workshop, combined with the theme of "Improving Quality Efficiency and Building a Strong Enterprise" and its own practical conditions, has formulated a scientific and reasonable implementation plan. It is deeply promoting comprehensive, all-staff, and all-process quality management, continuously improving levels, enhancing employees' quality literacy, and striving to build a brand for steam turbines, outsourced products, and technical services.

I. Strengthening organizational leadership and creating an activity atmosphere

Response to this "Quality Month" activity, the Steam Turbine Workshop quickly established an activity leadership group to plan and carry out the 2023 "Quality Month" activities. Under the of the group, the workshop has widely mobilized all employees to participate in the "Quality Month" activities through various forms such as collective mobilization, bulletin board publicity, team training, on-site discussions, and essay submissions. This activity is closely centered around the requirements and goals of "promoting quality co-governance and improving quality efficiency," continuously driving the continuous improvement the workshop's quality.

II. Promoting quality co-governance, refining implementation by groups

In accordance with the activity requirements, the steam turbine workshop quickly assigned activity plan to each team and launched a series of activities under the leadership of team leaders and quality inspectors. First, team training meetings were held, and leaders from the technical department experts from outsourced factories were invited to the workshop to explain production cases. These sessions were led by process employees and assisted by quality management personnel to enhance the subjective initiative of frontline workers. Second, employees were to discuss technical difficulties in processing technology, as outsourced products posed higher challenges to the workshop's quality management. Discussions were organized for the boring and milling processes regarding the processing technology of the seal body for the Dalian Ruijie project, for the PAMA250 process regarding the processing technology of the casing for the Qingdao Rongkai project, and for gantry milling process regarding the processing technology of the upper beam body for the China First Heavy Industries project, making outsourced technical process innovation deeply ingrained and further improving the awareness of outsourced quality control., employees' quality literacy was enhanced, and strict inspections of process discipline were organized. The daily management of civilized production, including shift handover records, self-inspection and mutual inspection records tool and measuring instrument management, and technical data of each team, was carefully inspected.

III. Strengthen quality innovation and enhance quality benefits

Quality innovation is the inevitable path to development. Our workshop has always adhered to the sustainable development path improvement and innovation. In the context of fierce market competition, the workshop has earnestly implemented the company's overall work deployment for reform and development, actively explored new operation and profit models, increased the intensity of outsourced modification and processing. First, by utilizing the Harbin Sanyuan outsourced rotor processing project, we piloted the processing and inspection records of the horizontal lathe process and improvements based on actual conditions. Second, addressing issues such as insufficient processing depth of threaded holes in components and the inadequate ability of operators to measure the depth of threaded holes, we strengthened theoretical and practical training for existing operators based on the current situation, and sent measuring instruments for inspection based on actual conditions, while inviting technical and inspection personnel from outsourced manufacturers to conduct onsite demonstration measurements. Third, we actively applied the PDCA cycle to solve the difficulties in the processing and assembly of steam turbine components and outsourced modified products, and continuously organized and carried out activities.

 The Steam Turbine Workshop will firmly seize the opportunity of this "Quality Month" activity, strengthen the implementation of management systems, enhance quality innovation, consolidate the quality system, and contribute its own strength to promoting the high-quality development of the company.
